Description of C4 Column
Hawach reversed phase C4 column, with its unique bonding technology, high bonded phase coverage, and unique double-end sealing technology, minimizes the impact of residual silanol.
It has a strong retention ability for hydrophobic and polar compounds, strong basicity, and good peak shape for the separation of polar compounds.
Pore sizes up to 300 Å are available. Applied to the separation and analysis of biological proteins, the peak shape is sharp and ultra-high.

Precautions of Reversed Phase C4 Column
- The pH of the Polar-RP HPLC column ranges from 1.5 to 10.0. It is generally recommended to use a pH range of 2.0 to 8.0. If the mobile phase is outside the pH range, the silica matrix will be lost and the bonded phase will be broken. Shorten the service life, should strictly control the range of pH value;
- The highest operating temperature is 60℃, and the recommended operating temperature is lower than 40°C.
The surface hydrophobicity of the stationary phase of the C4 HPLC column is lower than that of the ODS HPLC column and C8 HPLC column, so the sample retention time is also shorter than that of ODS and C8.
